Cath Ames has become the Editor of Your Business eZine (YBE) our on-line news platform.
YBE has been expanding since May 2011 and now needs a full time editor. Cath will bring her commercial and client care skills to the role of editing news and will also write features for our publication.
“It is a really exciting time for press and publications in Liverpool and Merseyside.” Cath comments. “YBE is a great publication with a strong readership base. Our aim is to provide local businesses with the right platform to exchange their news and views, and to be somewhere they can shout about their successes.”
YBE aim to be the main business news source in Liverpool, as the city is now without a daily newspaper. Founder of the publication Emma Dolan says: “As YBE Editor Cath can ensure that news and features tell the right story for and to our members and readers. Our impact will strengthen with a dedicated Editor.”
Cath Ames wants the strength of YBE to attract national attention. “By getting our message right and by emphasising what local businesses offer, we know Liverpool will take notice. As we are a web based platform these stories will also be available nationally. Great for our city and for our members.”
