Wirral based nursery chain, Daisy & Jake Day Nursery, has been given the highest rating by Ofsted for two of its settings in a recent inspection.

Liverpool Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) has launched a campaign aimed at highlighting the city region as an innovative hub for manufacturing.

This week, Downtown Liverpool in Business held its latest forum event, about the UK’s future in the EU.

Port Sunlight Village Trust has revealed that it is staging one of the biggest events in its history later this summer, maintaining that it will be a prelude to similar scale annual events planned for the future of the area.

Liverpool has secured £60m of government funding to support infrastructure and investment in the area.

The cash is the first instalment of £75m of government funding unlocked when Liverpool was the first to agree new devolved powers through the City Deals programme.

Liverpool's deal creates a new enterprise zone near the city centre, provides powers to help get young unemployed people into work, gives greater control over land for redevelopment and helps build 12 new secondary schools.
