The Apprenticeship Graduation (Liverpool City Region), taking place on 29 April 2014, aims to give apprentices from the six Merseyside boroughs the same recognition that university students receive on the completion of a degree.

Next week, Liverpool’s Epstein Theatre will once again throw open its doors to the public for a now annual Open Day in honour of the late Mr. Brian Epstein’s Birthday. The 2013 Open Day, which is extra special this year as the theatre celebrates its centenary year, will take place on Thursday 19th September, which would have been Brian’s 79th Birthday. In 2012, hundreds of people from all over Liverpool and beyond attended on the day and theatre management are expecting an even better turn out this year!

YBE’S First Thursday Business Club is back this September after an exciting few months for the company. Since the success of our last event in June we’ve moved into some swanky new offices at the heart of the city’s creative district.
Not only that we have welcomed several new staff members to the team and managed to pick up an award in the process for Best Digital and Creative Business 2013 at the city’s prestigious City of Liverpool Business Awards.

Innovative global projects including the International Festival for Business 2014 and Liverpool’s London ‘embassy’ have proved to be a key factor in luring Thirty7 Productions to Liverpool.
Independent theatre and film production company Thirty7 were keen to expand their business by opening a new base in the North West and were initially considering a move to Manchester, to take advantage of Media City and BBC North.
