We are pleased to announce that our Year 11 Enterprise Company, INNOV8, have successfully gained a place in the next round of Liverpool's Great Enterprise Challenge 2012 as one of ten secondary schools. The competition will take place on Friday 27 January, 2012. INNOV8’s business proposal is to provide a book for Year 6 primary school children on their transfer to secondary school and for the same book to be reversed for their parents/carers. Their unique selling point is “The ‘must-have’ guide for all Year 6 children (and their families) transferring to Secondary School, prepared by young people FOR young people”.
Much research has taken place on the compilation of the book and it is becoming close to production. To provide funding, the students have carried out various sales at parents’ meetings selling refreshments, cake sales.....
