August has got off to a flying start for Total Reclaim and for one of our customers, who lives in Liverpool.
The first week of August saw us break our record for the number of new claims received in a single week.
The number of claims being upheld by lenders continues to increase week on week, as they continue to work through the backlog of claims.
We were delighted to inform a customer, who lives in Liverpool, yesterday that Barclaycard would be refunding £3444 in payment protection insurance premiums, after Total Reclaim approached them with the complaint. I am unable to repeat exactly what the customer said upon being told the news, but suffice to say they were very, very happy!
I know I keep banging on about contacting us if you are paying for ppi on any loan or credit card, but these polices have been miss sold for years and years.
If you are paying for one of these policies there is an 85% chance that you were miss sold the policy and you could be entitled to a full refund of your premiums, as in the example above. It does not effect your credit rating or your relationship with your lender. If they have sold the policy correctly the bank has nothing to worry about. But if they cannot provide responses to our legal arguments, they will have to provide you with a full refund of your premiums, plus interest, plus 8% compensation.
