On 13 October at the 13th Annual 2020 Conference in The Hilton Birmingham Metropole in Birmingham, Wirral based Woods Squared were named as the Most Innovative Sole Practitioner. 2020 is the largest voluntary membership organisation in the UK with over 1,200 firms ranging from national firms through to sole practitioners and is specifically designed to encourage accountancy firms to develop into marketing, adding value and management techniques to maximise profitability in the long term. The award celebrates success and achievement across the accounting profession with particular emphasis on innovation and creativity.
Accepting the award from Peter Shilton MBE OBE with his team, Woods Squared founder Alan Woods said:
