Newton-le-Willows based property auctioneer Pugh & Co has netted more than £33.5m in sales at its Manchester auctions during the first half of the year.
The figures revealed follow its most recent successful auction at Manchester United Football Club which netted £7.9m.
At this Manchester auction, 87 of the 139 lots on offer sold including two Lancashire properties which sold for more than double their guide prices.
Showroom warehouse Fourgates Mill on Chorley Road, Bolton was guided between £70,000 and £80,000 and sold for £162,000.
Pugh & Co’s residential arm of the company, The Auction People, also had a number of high sellers with a vacant two bedroom terraced house on Colbran Street, Burnley selling at more than double the guide price at £33,500.

Across all four auction venues- Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Newcastle, Pugh & Co has so far netted £46.3m in sales this year.
