North West Insider has launched its search for this year's 42 under 42, as they look for the young entrepreneurs and business leaders that they think will be stars of the future.
Past alumni make up a who's who of North West business with names such as Tom Bloxham and Joe Morris, sitting alongside Matthew Riley and Andrew Simpson.
The age of 42 was selected by taking ten years off the average age of Insiders North West Rich 100, providing the opportunity to seek out and celebrate the region's emerging talent and highlight 42 people under the age of 42.
In order to apply, entrants must be under the age of 42 on 11 October 2011, which is the date of their celebration dinner at the Lowry Hotel. The main focus is to find entrepreneurs, business owners and directors. Start-up companies must have been in business for at least a year to eligible.
Insider does not include people from the professional services industry, unless they started and built the business, but will include those working in big corporates who have made a name for themselves early in their careers.
The closing date for entries is 31 August 2011.
