Leading Chester-based independent commercial insurance brokers Astbury Wren are to sponsor a race again at this year’s Chester Races.
The company, which has been part of Chester’s fabric since it first opened its doors in 1989, is set to sponsor a race on 8th July, as part of the Chester Racecourse’s legendary Ladies & Gents Evening, The Astbury Wren Nursery Handicap Stakes.
Phil Gee, Director at Astbury Wren explains,
“The Chester Races are a strong part of our local heritage and culture, so we are delighted to be a sponsor and to help support this unique local sporting event as a local business.”
The timeless charm of Chester’s natural amphitheatre racecourse, the quality of the turf, and the close proximity of the spectators to the course all help to make it one of the most unique and famous sporting events of the year.
Phil adds, “Ladies and Gents Evening is a fantastic occasion – and I’d encourage as many people as possible to come along.”
Astbury Wren provides insurance to a range of different local and national sectors, including commercial and professional businesses, property owners and charities.
