17 Companies Celebrate at Training Awards

Liverpool Chamber Training hosted its annual awards event in The Trophy Room at Liverpool Football Club’s famous Anfield ground, to recognise the achievements of its Apprenticeship and NVQ candidates during the last 12 months.

Radio City’s Rick Vaughan hosted and Miss Liverpool, Sarah Fairley & Chamber Deputy CEO, Carole Crosby presented the awards to learners nominated for to their hard work and success.

Most Supportive Employer was awarded to King & Fowler, Carole Crosby, Deputy CEO of Liverpool Chamber of Commerce explained: "Their people goals for 2010 as stated on their website is to “Create an empowered multi-skilled workforce by the continuous identification and deployment of training needs and have pro-active succession planning for key areas. To support this goal King and Fowler has taken advantage of funding available for management qualifications and have worked with Liverpool Chamber Training recruiting apprentices. They have worked to ensure Advanced Apprentices have progression opportunities and are fully supported by their colleagues and the Management of this forward thinking company."

 All the nominees enjoyed photo opportunities with the European Champions League Cup and the Director’s Box at Anfield, followed by entertainment from renowned local dance academy ‘Millingtons’
